Tactical Medicine: Combat Casualty Care

In high-risk and dynamic environments, immediate and effective medical intervention is the difference between life and death.

Our Tactical Medicine program focuses on providing mission-critical skills based on the globally recognized principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). This specialized training equips personnel with the knowledge and practical expertise necessary to save lives under fire and manage trauma in austere settings.

Tactical Medicine: Combat Casualty Care

Core Training and Protocols

Our curriculum is built around proven, life-saving protocols:

  • MARCH Protocol: The foundational assessment framework focusing on the critical priorities of patient care: Massive Hemorrhage, Airway, Respiration, Circulation, and Hypothermia/Head Injury. Mastering MARCH ensures that the most time-sensitive, preventable causes of death are addressed first and effectively.

  • TACEVAC (Tactical Evacuation): Training in the critical processes and procedures for moving casualties from the point of injury to a higher level of care. This covers planning, coordination with support units, and executing safe and timely medical evacuation in both hostile and non-hostile conditions.

  • ACM (Airway & Breathing, Circulation, Medical Interventions): A systematic approach that expands upon MARCH, detailing the specific medical interventions and treatments required for managing trauma, including advanced airway techniques and administering life-saving medications.

  • ERES (En-Route Emergency Surgical/Resuscitation): Focuses on sustaining the casualty during extended evacuation periods. This advanced module addresses prolonged field care principles and prepares personnel for supporting complex resuscitation efforts until the casualty reaches definitive surgical care.

By integrating these internationally benchmarked standards, our graduates are prepared to operate as the vital first link in the trauma care chain, significantly enhancing survivability across the operational spectrum.
